The Güssing site, with its 13 staff members, is responsible for implementing industry-oriented research, development and innovation projects. Its key areas of focus and expertise include future energy supply, renewable energies and, above all, energy storage. It supports Burgenland-based companies and local authorities in the development, planning and implementation of innovative projects in the fields of energy management, digitalisation, and climate and environmental management. Furthermore, expertise gained from internal and European R&D projects is offered as a service provider or cooperation partner in joint innovation projects. Working with and for Burgenland’s economy and industry, future R&D potential is developed and projects implemented to enhance the competitiveness of Burgenland-based companies and to strengthen Burgenland as a hub for innovation.
