Gas chromatography (GC/MS)

Our laboratory equipment enables us to carry out gas chromatographic analyses of gases, liquids or solids.

Gases are applied to the separation column either via a sample loop or the injector. Liquids are vaporised via an injector and solids are pyrolysed in a pyrolyser. The resulting vapours are applied directly to the separation column. A mass spectrometer and a flame ionisation detector are available as detectors. This technology can also be used to analyse plastics, for example.
