HPC computing cluster

Due to the complex physical models, numerical flow simulations are very computationally intensive methods and can therefore only be used efficiently with large computing capacities. A high-performance computing cluster (HPC) provides the necessary hardware environment to distribute the calculation area across a large number of processors and thus drastically reduce the computing time. As part of an ERDF-funded research project, such an HPC computing cluster with corresponding performance management was acquired.
