Management simulation room

The centre for management simulations serves as an experimental laboratory for IT-controlled and behaviour-controlled business games. In order to offer managers a training programme aimed at simulating certain everyday professional situations, the construction of a multimedia research laboratory with a focus on psychophysiological measurement diagnostics was completed.

The specially created room in the so-called Energetikum (Living Lab) is equipped with a one-way mirror and is used for didactic simulation game research and research-accompanying teaching. This allows the behaviour of managers to be documented, observed and analysed in real time. In addition, biofeedback devices are used to measure and analyse physiological changes in managers. The laboratory is also equipped with a modern video recording system, which allows the simulation games to be analysed professionally.
