Remote eye tracker for eye tracking and analysis

By recording fixations and saccades of the human eye, the eye movements, gaze duration and the sequence of the gaze path with regard to the stimuli viewed by a person at certain points in time (such as during a purchase decision) are analysed with up to 120 measurements per second. A stationary remote eye tracker (SMI RED 60/120) and a portable remote eye tracker (SMI RED-m) were purchased for this purpose.

A remote eye tracker records gaze data on screens and allows the analysis of attention, information processing and user behaviour (e.g. on websites). The sensors allow free head movements without physical contact with the test subject. The mobile setting allows uncomplicated gaze recording in the test subjects' familiar surroundings or in busy shopping centres.
