The export of data from Simultan and the import of data from IDA ICE and RFEM, together with the real-time integration of measurement data, are important functions. This ability to integrate data into an open source kernel creates a new basis for future developments and working methods in planning, implementation and operation. The Woschitz group worked together with research partners from Forschung Burgenland and the Vienna University of Technology on this research project - GBS (Ganzheitliche Gebäudesimulation), which is supported by the FFG. The aim is to improve the energy efficiency of buildings through simulation and validation on the basis of an open data system. This was initiated three years ago.
In the coming year, the focus will be on optimisation. This process will be driven forward in collaboration with scientific partners, including the support of Zsombor Jarosi (Vienna University of Technology). Specialised publications in journals and conferences will also be published jointly.
