Healthy company: seal of quality for Research Burgenland

The Austrian Health Insurance Fund (ÖGK) recently awarded the seal of approval for sustainable health measures to domestic companies. Forschung Burgenland GmbH, based in Eisenstadt, was one of 16 companies in Burgenland to be awarded the seal of approval.

Eisenstadt, 6 March 2025: ore motivation at work? Better working atmosphere? Fewer sick days? Workplace health promotion (WHP) should make it possible. Forschung Burgenland has launched the project ‘Forschung Burgenland - bringt Gesundheit & Mitarbeiter*innen zusammen’ (Research Burgenland - bringing health and employees together) under the leadership of Thomas Kremsner, with the support of ÖGK and expert guidance from Erwin Gollner, Head of the Department of Health at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences. 

The programme was launched three years ago with the signing of the BGF Charter. Marcus Keding, Managing Director of Forschung Burgenland: ‘We have thus sent out a clear signal in favour of the importance of workplace health promotion.

As part of the project, an extensive exercise and sports programme has been implemented in recent years, lectures have been held on various health topics and joint activities have been carried out in the company.


As an award-winning company, Forschung Burgenland can now bear the BGF seal of approval until 2027 as a visible sign of its successful commitment to workplace health promotion.
