H2GreenFUTURE - Help shape the future of hydrogen now!

A cross-border innovation ecosystem for the development of hydrogen technologies is being established as part of the Interreg project H2GreenFUTURE. Forschung Burgenland is part of the project consortium, consisting of Slovenian and Austrian partners. The project team can currently be supported by taking part in a survey and participating in a working group.

Sharing knowledge in a working group

‘As part of the H2GreenFUTURE project, which is being carried out by project partners from Slovenia and Austria under the Interreg SI-AT programme, we are forming the H2GreenFUTURE Working Group and the Hydrogen Centre Stakeholder Board, which will play a key role in shaping the legal framework and building the ecosystem to promote the development of hydrogen technologies in Slovenia and Austria,’ explains project manager Christian Seidl from Forschung Burgenland.
The H2GreenFUTURE working group aims to exchange knowledge, experience and other information in order to define the framework conditions for pilot projects and promote innovation in the field of hydrogen technologies. The working group will later form a Hydrogen Centre Stakeholder Board, which meets twice a year and is involved in the decision-making process of the H2GreenFUTURE project.  As a member of the H2GreenFUTURE working group and/or the board of the Hydrogen Centre, you can help shape hydrogen policy in Slovenia and Austria and thus contribute to accelerating the transition to green energy sources. Survey: Creating a low-carbon economy

The project addresses the area holistically by demonstrating the use of hydrogen technologies in modern industrial plants through a pilot project, emphasising the importance of skills, a stable legal and regulatory environment and networking of stakeholders. Among other things, the project will highlight the importance of identifying the needs of all actors in the value chain for the creation of a low-carbon economy in Slovenia and Austria. To prepare the regulatory sandbox and identify stakeholder needs, the following survey can be participated in:  https://1ka.arnes.si/h2GreenFuture
