At the kick-off meeting, the project consortium met in person for the first time and discussed in detail the three pillars on which the project activities will focus over the next three years: Research and innovation, knowledge and competences, and the introduction of testing mechanisms to adapt legislation to disruptive innovations.
H2GreenFUTURE includes a cross-border H2 demo pilot project to identify barriers in the cross-border area, a regulatory sandbox to create an adequate legal framework and initiatives to raise awareness and transfer knowledge of H2 technologies.
The main outputs of the H2GreenFUTURE project are:
- Cross-border H2 demo pilot project and roadmap for technological cross-border H2 cooperation
- H2 Regulatory Sandbox Simulation andH2GreenFUTURE Policy Brief
- Pilot implementation of the H2GreenFUTURE training programme
H2GreenFUTURE is also in line with the roadmap for hydrogen technologies in the Interreg region of Slovenia and Austria and builds on the foundations of the H2GreenTECH project (Interreg SI-AT).
The H2GreenFUTURE project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Interreg Slovenia-Austria programme.
