On 11 and 12 December, the fourth partner meeting of the HERCULES-CE project took place in Eisenstadt. Project partners from all the international partner countries came together to discuss in detail the project results to date, current developments and the next steps.
Focus on project progress and pilot projects
The meeting centred on updates regarding project progress, particularly the development and application of the REC Manager, as well as discussions on the ongoing pilot projects. The partners gained valuable insights into the current status and future development of energy communities (EEGs) and took the opportunity to engage in an open and constructive dialogue.
A key milestone of the project is the development of the REC Manager, which is now being tested individually. Through the Neudörfl pilot project, the REC Manager is now being put through its paces in practice in order to further optimise it and adapt it to real-world requirements.
A new phase for implementing the project objectives
The pilot projects as a whole are now also entering a new phase, whether this involves setting up new structures or further developing existing ones. This marks the start of concrete steps towards achieving the project’s objectives.
HERCULES-CE brings together 12 partner organisations that are working together to develop innovative solutions for regional energy communities and to successfully put them into practice. The partner meeting in Eisenstadt has once again demonstrated how valuable international exchange and close cooperation are for the project’s success.
