In the course of the project, a cooperation was established between Berndorf Band GmbH and Forschung Burgenland GmbH with regard to the identification of measures to optimise building management for the office building at the Berndorf site.

In the course of using its office building, Berndorf Band GmbH, based in Berndorf, has realised that the building control system, including the associated equipment, is not functioning to the desired extent. In detail, the comfort in the premises cannot be guaranteed in an appropriate manner and the company is also of the opinion that there is potential for optimisation in connection with the provision of energy.
In this context, Berndorf Band GmbH contacted the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences and its subsidiary Forschung Burgenland in order to clarify a co-operation with regard to the problem described above.
