Needs and acceptance analyses for the accreditation applications of study programmes at the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences

A needs and acceptance analysis must be submitted to the AQ Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria before a new university of applied sciences degree programme can be established. As part of the needs analysis, industry trends are identified, labour market analyses are carried out and experts in the respective field are interviewed. The analyses of the acceptance of planned degree programmes include the presentation of coherent post-secondary education offers and the identification of potential applicants, which lead to an estimate of the number of applications. In the current period, Forschung Burgenland has prepared demand and acceptance analyses for UAS bachelor's degree programmes in the fields of "Medical-Technical Services" and "International Sustainable Business".
