As part of the needs analysis, industry trends are identified, labour market analyses are carried out and experts in the respective field are interviewed.

The analyses of the acceptance of planned degree programmes include the presentation of coherent post-secondary education offers and the identification of potential applicants, which lead to an estimate of the number of applications.

In the current period, Forschung Burgenland has carried out a demand and acceptance analysis for the FH Bachelor's degree programme "Midwifery".
