Making career guidance accessible

The planned project focuses on the barriers in the career path-finding process for women, girls and young people in Burgenland, findings from our own research (FrauenMut Burgenland, Women's Report and Women's Strategy Burgenland as well as "Arbeit goes digital") and other scientific foundations are intended to shed light on access to gainful employment with reference to the current CoVid-19 pandemic. The aim is to dismantle current barriers to accessing the labour market with measures.

This project is funded by the European Social Fund as part of the Union's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.


Project objective:

Development of a prototypical career guidance tool to specifically break down barriers in the career guidance process for girls, women and young people in Burgenland.

 

Basis for achieving the goal:

Women's Strategy Burgenland, NEETs in Burgenland, DigiCov 4.0 and framework papers on career guidance in Austria, EU policy papers and data from the European Institute for Gender Equality

 

Procedure:

Developing the basics, holistic pattern mining workshops Stakeholders, design thinking workshops Target group, development of a prototype tool
