The overall aim of the project is to promote innovation in public administration at regional and local level. The aim is to stimulate innovation in three different areas:
- Generating innovation: Generating innovative ideas as responses to regional and local problems and developing them further based on a co-design approach. This will be implemented as part of a Cross-Border Innovation Lab.
- Utilising innovation: Strengthening expertise in the introduction of (digital) innovations in local authorities. This will be achieved through the development of a consultancy service for local authorities to help them develop municipal digitalisation strategies, as well as a best-practice guide on the specific topic of energy accounting in local authorities.
Implementing innovation: Developing and implementing innovative technological solutions in public administration. This will be achieved by testing a digital twin for public administration within a regional administration in Slovakia.
