Burgenland action plan against violence

The Burgenland Action Plan against Violence was drawn up by the Department of Social Affairs in cooperation with the province of Burgenland. Based on the results of the stakeholder workshops organised by the province (Department for Women, Anti-Discrimination and Equal Treatment), the chapters of the action plan were supplemented with in-depth facts and figures from research into violence protection as well as legal framework conditions and contact points. A common definition of terms and content was drawn up for all areas of everyday life - family, education, work environment and in public and digital spaces. The focus was on protection against violence and measures that are taken and experienced against violence in these areas of life. The same structure was chosen for all chapters and the content of existing measures in Burgenland as well as planned measures were analysed. Finally, there are starting points for media work and networking of stakeholders and contact points in Burgenland.

The Burgenland Action Plan against Violence is thus a structured, readable product for the practical implementation of measures to protect against violence in Burgenland.
