The topics of digitalisation, IT security and the use of sophisticated and sensitive sensors and actuators are becoming increasingly important in society. These points are particularly interesting when the social aspect is also taken into account.
The Civis 4.0 Patria project focuses on developing a platform (app & desktop) designed to enable public authorities and critical infrastructure providers to:
Warn participating citizens, local authorities and public administration bodies about disasters (e.g. severe storms, mudslides, traffic disruptions, etc.)
Data from Internet of Things devices (sensors) and mobile devices is to be integrated into the platform for disaster management
Participating citizens and local authorities should have the opportunity to report incidents directly (potholes, fallen trees, etc.)
Scientific questions in this context relate to the security and reliability of information transmission in the specific application area.
