Data preparation and data analysis of the regional Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI)

Energie & Umwelt

The Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) has been measuring Europe's digital performance since 2014 and supports EU countries in identifying areas for action. Regional DESI data serves as the basis for digitalisation measures in Burgenland. In this study, the data is processed, analysed and presented graphically.

Project running time

01/04/2024 - 31/05/2024

The Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) has been summarising indicators for Europe's digital performance since 2014 and monitors the progress of EU member states. These indicators address the key areas of expertise, infrastructure, economy and public services in Burgenland.

Each year, the DESI reports contain country profiles that help Member States to identify areas for prioritised action. DESI data is now also available at regional level, which represents an important basis for Burgenland to steer further digitalisation measures. The aim of this study is therefore to prepare, analyse and graphically present existing regional DESI data.
