e-nova is an international scientific congress that takes place annually in Pinkafeld. The main topics are energy - buildings - environment. In 2024, e-nova was successfully held for the 27th time on 12 and 13 June and was entitled "Intelligent Energy and Climate Strategies". The conference programme, implemented by researchers and professional experts, consisted of 43 content elements, which were divided into 11 sessions and 3 interactive programme elements as well as a poster exhibition. In order to enable a deeper exchange and increased interaction between speakers and audience, there was a 5-minute discussion round after each presentation in which open questions could be discussed. For the first time, a participatory conference programme was held under the direction of an external moderator. On both days of the conference, participants and speakers were given the opportunity to contribute their own topics and discuss them in greater depth.
The conference proceedings comprise around 245 pages and were published by Holzhausen - Der Verlag. In the interests of sustainability and resource conservation, it was decided to make the conference proceedings available to congress participants online with the corresponding DOI.
