Pflegeservice Burgenland GmbH was founded on 1 October 2019 to offer and handle the employment model for family carers. Three models - depending on the care level of the person in need of care - are available for employment. The employment model is now being evaluated by the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland GmbH, with the following dimensions being analysed:
Data analysis: The data on employment relationships provided by the province of Burgenland will be analysed with regard to various issues.
Liability law dimension: The model of employing family carers, including the existing framework conditions, is to be examined from a liability law perspective based on the current state of knowledge with the involvement of an expert.
Social dimension: Interviews will be used to gain insight into the experiences of users and professionals in the context of the employment model in order to identify and evaluate organisational, logistical, psychosocial or innovation-related and also professional requirements in implementation.
Professional dimension: The quality of care, professional supervision, substitute care and documentation are to be analysed.
Economic dimension: A comparison of the costs of different forms of provision should be made.
