ELIX - European Labour Mobility-Led Career and Service-Learning System in Higher Education

The ELIX project (European Labour Mobility-Led Career and Service-Learning System in Higher Education) aims to revolutionise higher education by promoting student engagement, career readiness and social responsibility.

It is being implemented in Slovenia, Serbia, Slovakia, Austria and Greece. ELIX integrates Community Service Learning (CSL) into academic curricula, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. By combining experiential learning, industry partnerships and digital innovation, the project improves employability and teaches students important skills such as teamwork, problem solving and adaptability. Through cross-border collaboration between universities, business stakeholders and local communities, ELIX promotes internationalisation, sustainability and inclusive education. The project aims to create a dynamic learning environment that addresses the challenges of student disengagement while preparing graduates to thrive in an interconnected and rapidly evolving global labour market.
