In 2023, e-nova was successfully held for the 26th time on 14 and 15 June and was entitled "Energy and Climate Change". The conference programme consisted of 43 lectures given by researchers and professional experts in 12 sessions and five presentations as part of a poster exhibition.

In order to enable a deeper exchange and increased interaction between speakers and audience, there was a five-minute discussion round after each presentation in which open questions could be discussed. For the first time, a participatory conference programme was pursued under the direction of an external moderator. On both days of the conference, participants and speakers were given the opportunity to contribute their own topics and discuss them in greater depth.

The conference proceedings comprise around 312 pages and were published by Holzhauser - Der Verlag. In the interests of sustainability and resource conservation, it was decided to make the conference proceedings available to congress participants online with the corresponding DOI. In addition, the conference proceedings were printed in limited numbers - 50 copies - and are available in the library of the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences, among other places.
