Evaluation of child and youth services

The Department of Social Affairs at Burgenland University of Applied Sciences was commissioned by viasozial (Munich) to carry out an evaluation of the non-case-specific and cross-case work of Graz Child and Youth Services in four social areas, within the framework of which this research report is presented. In two ethnographically orientated observation loops from October 2015 to January 2016 and from October 2016 to December 2016, a total of 10 field studies were carried out in randomly selected project settings, which were evenly distributed across the projects in the four social spaces in Graz. Participant observation and open surveys by research assistants from the FH Burgenland formed the tools on the basis of which the assessment and a catalogue of recommendations were developed.
