The aim is to strengthen young people's health skills, which help them to make healthy decisions in their everyday lives. As the social situation in which young people grow up has a significant influence on their health, the project aims to help counteract existing disadvantages faced by young people. Accordingly, health equity is to be promoted and thus the fact of having equal opportunities to promote, maintain and restore health, regardless of individual and social characteristics, is to be favoured.
Access for the target group in the Triestingtal and "badsooßbrunn" region is to be facilitated through the low-threshold, confidentiality and flexibility in the setting of the mobile and outpatient services of the social services of child and youth welfare/open youth work. The aim of the project is to increase the life satisfaction of young people through various activities and to expand the life prospects for young people and their individual resources and social networks. Social integration through activities in the areas of sport and nutrition as well as mental health, addiction and violence prevention, sexuality and health/medicine are intended to promote health, activity and autonomy, whereby a needs-orientated and participatory approach is chosen.
With the help of the external evaluation, funding bodies and project partners can verify whether a health-promoting project has been implemented and whether the funding has been invested sustainably. The evaluation provides information on the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of the funding and the impact orientation with regard to social participation and health promotion in the achievement of objectives and adaptation to the target group. As part of the process evaluation in close cooperation with the project team, the project structures and the quality of the measures are optimised during the course of the project.
