Green Energy Lab Open Data Platform
Energie & UmweltAcronym
OpenDataPlatform
Project running time
01/11/2018 - 31/10/2021
Projectbudget in EUR
100.000 - 250.000
The aim of the project is to gain a deeper understanding of the interrelationships in energy systems. In future, users from households and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular will be able to benefit from this. End-user data provides information on consumption-intensive applications and enables a better overview and understanding of energy costs. Analysing consumption patterns and load flows of users is also the basis for developing forecasting models. This is an important step towards being able to respond even better to the flexible needs of end users in the future
One focus of the Open Data Platform is the development and testing of integrated participatory methods that increase the acceptance of innovative technologies. End customers should be actively involved in the digitalisation of the energy system step by step and be able to have a say in the design of the solution. The process of active co-design is intended to promote identification with the Open Data Platform and thus reduce possible barriers to acceptance of new technology solutions. The findings from the project will be condensed into customised recommendations for the various stakeholder groups in the energy industry.
