Green Tech Plus supports young entrepreneurs (aged 16–23) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in rural areas in particular as they transition towards green technologies and digital solutions. Based on a thorough analysis of regional conditions and national differences, a strategic implementation framework is being developed to facilitate the use of modern technologies such as precision farming, robotics, artificial intelligence and sustainable production methods.

A key project outcome is the GreenTech Plus implementation framework, which includes guidelines on objectives,

educational guidelines, cooperation models, funding opportunities and concrete recommendations for digital transformation. In addition, a multilingual online platform

which serves as a central hub for training materials, digital tools, examples of good practice, as well as for exchange and networking.

As part of a mentoring programme for sustainability and green technologies,

at least 50 companies and young entrepreneurs will receive individual support to

strengthen their innovative capacity and competitiveness. In addition, a

cross-border living lab will be established as a testing and development site for forward-looking technologies

. It will function as a regional centre of excellence, bringing together stakeholders from research, industry

and public administration.

To raise awareness among the next generation, career guidance events on green

careers for school pupils, including interactive workshops, specialist talks and

career guidance sessions.
