The project addresses the cross-border challenge of unifying the fragmented R&D within the programme area and exploits the great potential of hydrogen technology in the transport sector.
Three specific objectives are pursued:
1) Improving access and use of research infrastructure for hydrogen technologies in Slovenia and Austria by establishing a one-stop-shop hydrogen centre for companies, researchers and students with a clear strategy and action plan until 2025
2) Capacity building of companies, R&D centres and universities based on the implementation of joint CB projects in the field of hydrogen technology. Three demonstration models will be set up for the technical demonstrations/demonstrations based on the prototypes and training modules developed in the project
3) Promotion of CB co-operation between research institutions, companies and public administration through the development of a cross-border roadmap for low-carbon technologies with the aim of implementation and dissemination
With the innovative approach of the quadruple helix model, the partnership establishes an urgently needed one-stop-shop hydrogen centre. The improved innovative capacity of all participants contributes to greater competitiveness of hydrogen technology, which is important for the programme area.
Results of H₂GreenTECH:
- Improved and effective support for better access and use of hydrogen technology research infrastructure for cross-border R&D centres, companies and students
- Improved competences of companies, R&D centres and university centres through the implementation of joint cross-border R&D projects on hydrogen technologies
- Facilitate cross-border cooperation between research institutes, companies and public administration to promote low-carbon technological innovation
