HVAC Foundation Training + Advanced Training Modules

In cooperation with the Purmo Group, a customised training course was developed for employees of the Purmo Group.

The basic training comprises 27 teaching units from the areas of meteorological basics, thermodynamics, thermal comfort, building energy performance indicators, heating systems, humid air, ventilation and air conditioning technology, control technology, whereby some of the modules are offered online asynchronously, depending on the time available to employees, and some are offered online synchronously.

Building on the basic training, the advanced training can be completed. The advanced training covers the topics of heat pumps, heat distribution and heat dissipation. The advanced training consists of 9 theory units (synchronised online) and 12 laboratory units on site at the test stands on the campus in Pinkafeld.

Both training levels conclude with an exam. Successful participants receive a certificate from the Burgenland University of Applied Sciences.
