The REVALUE project is seizing the opportunity to significantly improve the recycling of municipal waste in the future by developing and testing modern sorting and processing technologies. New processes such as gasification, liquefaction and carbonisation are intended to help recover valuable raw materials, strengthen the circular economy and make waste management more efficient and cost-effective overall.

Close, cross-border cooperation between partners from both regions, together with the involvement of all key stakeholders (Quadruple Helix), creates a strong, innovative network-based approach. This enables tailor-made solutions that are effective across national borders and positively support regional development.

The unique feature of the project lies in the testing of advanced technologies not previously used in the regions, and in a collaboration that brings together knowledge and experience. This generates sustainable, economically attractive and ecologically valuable impetus that significantly accelerates the transition to a future-oriented circular economy.
