The University of Applied Sciences Burgenland was commissioned by Gesundheit Österreich GmbH to conduct a qualitative analysis of the organisation and structure of community health promotion in an international comparison. Based on the results, scenarios for the sustainable anchoring of community health promotion and caring communities in Austria were derived.

The Competence Centre for Future Health Promotion of Gesundheit Österreich GmbH (GÖG) commissioned the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland with the qualitative preparation of a study on the topic of "Structural anchoring of healthy, age-appropriate neighbourhoods - caring communities".

As part of the study, a literature review on the topic of caring communities and community health promotion at national and international level was conducted. In addition, 10 expert interviews will be conducted on the structural anchoring of community health promotion in six European countries. Based on the results, scenarios for sustainable anchoring for Austria will be derived. The results will be published by GÖG.
