In the project, a study was conducted with Galvanic Skin Response and automatic facial expression analysis to evaluate and improve various prototypes of the media company x.news. Galvanic skin response (also known as electrodermal activity) measures skin conductivity and is an objective method for analysing the emotions of test subjects. The facial expression analysis examines whether the use of the software triggers positive or negative emotions. In the project, 3 different prototypes were analysed and optimisation potentials were derived in order to further improve the user experience for potential users. The methodology for measuring emotions was also further developed.
