The project comprises the organisation and implementation of a preparatory course for the aptitude test for medical studies on behalf of the BURGEF. The aim of the preparation course is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills for the MedAT-H2024.

On behalf of the BURGEF (Burgenland Health Fund), the Department of Health and Social Affairs organises a preparatory course for the medical entrance test (MedAT-H). The project includes the organisation and implementation of the preparatory course. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills for the MedAT-H 2024 entrance test.

An interdisciplinary team from the fields of medicine, natural sciences, social sciences and psychology has designed a comprehensive online course programme. The lectures provide in-depth knowledge in the areas of:

Biology,
physics,
maths,
chemistry,
cognitive abilities and skills,
social decision-making, recognising emotions and
text comprehension.

The course is free of charge for Burgenland residents. In the long term, the preparation programme aims to increase the chances of young Burgenlanders being admitted to medical school.
