Baumit develops building materials for the construction industry. Plasters form the outermost layers of walls, which means that this layer has a significant influence on the indoor climate. For this reason, knowledge of the moisture-regulating properties is essential for a manufacturer. The sorption properties of water vapour through the building material can be determined using the soprtion isotherm measuring device operated by Forschung Burgenland. For this reason, Forschung Burgenland was commissioned to carry out such measurements for 4 samples of foam concrete.
